All abstracts must be sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (Object: Presenting Author’s Surname_Name, e.g., Faraday_Michael) using the provided template.
Abstracts should be in the form of a single-page summary. Please, download here the abstract template and follow the instructions therein.
Each presenting author can submit at most 2 abstracts.
Along with the abstract, the Presenting Author indicates his/her preference for oral or poster presentation and the scientific topic of the abstract.
Decision upon the abstract acceptance will be announced to the Presenting Authors via e-mail by 15 December 2023. Contributed papers accepted for the Conference will be presented either orally or by poster. Oral presentations will be in the format of a talk given by the Presenting Author using an LCD projector, followed by a short discussion period.
- Presenting Authors are expected to upload their presentation (PowerPoint or PDF format) on the conference PC at least one session in advance. We advise Presenting Authors to bring their own laptop computer in case of incompatibility between the conference PC and their presentation.
- Poster presentations will consist of well-prepared visual materials posted on a designated board, with the Presenting Author available to present details and to answer questions during the poster session.
- As mentioned above, Presenting Authors are requested to indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation in the abstract submission form. The Program Committee will assess the suitability of the submitted abstract for the Magnet 2024 conference, will decide on the presentation format and assignment of abstract to a session. In the e-mail notice of acceptance, authors will be notified of the type of presentation for their contribution.
