Special Session on Research Infrastructures
MAGNET 2026 will feature a dedicated session on major research infrastructures, which play a strategic role in enabling cutting-edge science in magnetism, advanced materials, extreme-field research, nanofabrication, and high-performance computing.
For EMFL – European Magnetic Field Laboratory, we will have a talk from Rolf W. Lortz, Director at LNCMI). Other research infrastructures will be presented too.
The session will provide an updated overview of access opportunities, capabilities and the strategic impact of research infrastructures for the magnetism community.
Laboratory Visit
Interested participants will have the opportunity to conclude the conference with a visit to the EMFL/IRIS laboratories at the University of Salento, providing a chance to explore cutting-edge research infrastructures and foster scientific collaboration
